Scenic RailRiders is a family owned and operated business that provides rail-biking tours through the picturesque New Hampshire countryside. Our bikes are designed by us with customer safety and comfort in mind. Scenic RailRiders Inc. opened for business in July of 2019.

Employment with Scenic RailRiders is a low pressure fun environment where you get to spend a lot of time outdoors and interact with customers. You will stay in shape while pedaling our Rail-Bikes guiding our tours. We offer part-time flexible schedules for people who may want to work many hours or just a few hours. This work is suitable for 18 years and older. We pay very competitive wages.

Great job for college students, teachers out for the summer, school moms looking to work while kids are in school, retirees just looking to work a few hours.

Positions available

Tour Guides:
We have openings for part-time Tour Guides to operate our Rail-Bike tours. Rail-Bikes are 4 wheeled pedal bikes that ride on railroad tracks. Must be able to pedal for a two mile stretch non-stop at a leisurely pace several times a day. Comfortable speaking to customers. Must be at least 18 years old. Clean appearance a must. Come enjoy the outdoors and get some exercise while being paid for it!

Duties may include:

Pedaling the tours either in front or in the rear. Round trip is 6.4 miles with three stops.
Turning the Rail-Bikes around for return trip using the turntable, some lifting required.
Handling the ticket booth sales and check-in's.
Preparing the Rail-Bikes for use before each tour.
Returning the Rail-Bikes to storage container at the end of each day.
Giving safety & operation talks to the customers prior to the tours.
Providing area highlights to the customers about history and sites along the tour.

Assistant Manager(s):

We have openings for part-time assistant managers who can manage onsite tour operations including tour guide assignments, opening and closing the site each day. Must also be able to perform all of the Tour Guide duties along with the Assistant Manager duties.
